This wine is Limited for the following reasons: Only one block on our farm (0.8 hectare) that is 100% dedicated to this label. A single clone, 312, is used for the Ltd Release No one in SA makes a Cabernet Franc from this clone alone, making it very unique and offering you something you cannot get anywhere else. Yearly we produce a mere 250-350 cases of the Cabernet Franc Ltd Release. All this being said, it is not necessarily a better wine than our Cabernet Franc, it just possesses other qualities that sets it apart. And of course there is a very limited amount available yearly. It has a more fruity body with more prominent red fruit flavours and is quite lively on the pallet.
